Talk or not to talk with India?

By Sidra Khan

Engaging India in any negotiation at the present critical time would be nonproductive for the Kashmiris struggle as the reason of such mass human violations is India itself. Inferable from social networking, this time the suffering of Kashmiri masses have come to a few sections of worldwide community, that generally knew less about the Indian monstrosities in Indian held Kashmir before. It merits specifying that, there was total blackout of all the sources to internet, mobile services which might help Kashmiris to reach out to the world. India has been using this tactic since 1990, which is proceeding till-date. However after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani Indian Government again put a prohibition on the web, cellular telephone

In seen on the logical prism, any negotiations or talks with India at this moment would be benefitting India, as it can help India to diffuse the international pressure upon it. Negotiations amongst both India and Pakistan will paint a picture of false hopes for the Kashmir’s living under the Indian oppression that as these talks would bear some fruit as  India and Pakistan will come up with a resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Accordingly, the Kashmiris should stop their wide scale protests for their self-determination. If the Kashmiris do stop their active resistance,  this again would be a rehash of 2002/03, once, the government of Pakistan asked the Kashmiris  in Indian held Kashmir to withdraw from their active struggle of self-determination for Kashmir , which they did, hitherto the India did not stop its barbarities. Well along, relentless Indian abuse gave reasons and force to the indigenous Kashmir battle in 2008. Withdrawing from the armed struggle,  by the Kashmiris in 2003 gave India a chance to fence the whole LoC and Working Boundary, which gave another measurement to this generally illicit Indian occupation and no genuine note taken up  against this advancement.

As opposed, there exists a hypocrisy in the Indian attitudes. Throughout the previous couple of years, India has been always preventing the nature of Kashmir, as a disputed territory  mandated by the UN, especially the Indian held Kashmir. Upon that, India has started to make its claims on Azad Kashmir and the Gilgit Baltistan too. Over the past invitations of negotiations from Pakistan, India have been giving  two same set of  reactions; in first reaction, India was found in a foreswearing temperament, saying that, it would not talk with Pakistan on anything with relates to the  Kashmir dispute , as India wrongly, claims Kashmir as its integral part. According to Indian media, Indian Foreign Secretary said that, “We have additionally passed on that legislature of India rejects completely the self-serving claims with respect to the circumstance in J&K, which is a fundamental piece of India where Pakistan has no locus standi.”  The second reaction of India is , India showed willingness  to talk upon Kashmir, gaven the plan of talks incorporate scope of different issues including the Indian mantra of cross-fringe psychological oppression. As it were, India has decided to see the Kashmir question through the prism of terrorism .

As world is driven by realism, the invitations and the response of the invitation are to some degree confusing or can be treated as beyond the comprehension of the analytical analysts of the South Asian region. On the off chance that by any means, there was a proposition for the discussions at this critical time of Kashmiri struggle, it ought to have originated from India, not from Pakistan. The discussions would mean India is purchasing time, which it has been doing generally over the Kashmir question. Should Pakistan let India avail such an opportunity , is surely, to some degree astounding. It would also debilitate the Kashmiri struggle for their privilege of self-determination. Then again if there is a good faith existing in Islamabad, that discussions right now would come up with a satisfying answer for Kashmir it might be a starry-eyed considering, seeing the Indian reputation.

Realistically, it was the most fortunate moment for the present Government of Pakistan and individuals of Kashmir to allude the instance of Indian human rights infringement to International Criminal Court (ICC). Killings, torment, assaults and now the utilization of pellet weapons, resulting in huge handicapping of the young generation of Kashmir by Indian security powers give adequate proof of Indian brutalities, if the case is alluded to ICC. “The ICC has the locale to indict people for the global wrongdoings of genocide, violations against mankind, and atrocities.” And India by the book fits into this command of ICC. India in reality has the most exceedingly and also the terrible wrongdoing record if looked at the Indian held Kashmir is concerned. The recent advancements in IOK; the utilization of pellet weapons that have disabled children and young generation and hundreds have been blinded and damaged. At the same point, the live shooting is likewise being utilized by Indian Army, as its old procedure, killing the innocent individuals of Kashmir with complete jurisdiction to the occupation forces under many prejudicial laws. This planned technique is an infringement of UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights-1948 and Geneva Conventions-1949.

The dual character of the Indian prime minister Modi, can be witnessed as instead  halting human rights infringement in IOK, Indian Prime Minister and some of his priests are continually leveling the claims against Pakistan, surely to misdirect the world and occupy the worldwide consideration away from the Indian human rights infringement in IOK. Recently also, the Indian PM attempted globally to deceive the world about the circumstance in Balochistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Ever since Pakistan attained independence there is no incidents of human rights violations on such areas of Pakistan, as Pakistan is a peace loving and peace promoting country, the Indian PM ought to have known the substance of his discourse While telling a lie and misdirecting the world, Mr Modi has certainly lost his reliability internationally. Individuals of AJK and GB are living calmly as a major aspect of Pakistan. In fact, the Kashmiris have been and are battling to wind up a part of Pakistan and its people. They in fact have resorted to wide and huge human protests and demonstrations not only against the statements of Modi but also against the atrocities in Kashmir . In reality, there has never been any occasion where the oppressed masses of Kashmir have ever acknowledged Indian occupation and Indian constitution in IOK.

Upon the question on Balochistan, The Province of Balochistan can’t be likened ever with IOK. Balochistan is province of Pakistan and also the biggest of them and State of Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory  credited by the UN Security Council resolutions and also acknowledged both by India and by Pakistan. Although, India is included in the advancement of sub-patriotism in the area through its scandalous spying system, RAW. Prior this year, Mr Kulbhushan Yadav, a senior military officer of the RAW was caught by Pakistan for sorting out psychological warfare and separatism in Balochistan.

The reputation of India demonstrates that, it has never gave attention to the Kashmir question; along these lines, rather squandering time any more, the Government of Pakistan and individuals of Kashmir must allude the instance of human rights infringement in IOK to ICC and UNSC. Give this time Kashmiri a chance to individuals, the sufferers to be at the bleeding edge, battling their case themselves at the universal gathering.
